CMI Porous Metal Micro Spargers are precision-engineered to maximize gas-liquid mass transfer in critical cell culture and fermentation processes. By generating millions of uniform, ultra-fine bubbles, these spargers significantly increase the surface area for gas exchange, ensuring superior dissolved oxygen (DO) levels and efficient carbon dioxide removal for demanding organisms.
Available in optimized pore sizes from 2μm to 15μm, our micro spargers are manufactured from high-purity materials like 316L Stainless Steel, Titanium, and Hastelloy. The rigid sintered structure prevents media migration and particle shedding, making them ideal for sterile pharmaceutical environments. Fully compatible with CIP (Clean-in-Place) and SIP (Steam-in-Place) protocols, CMI micro spargers provide a durable, zero-contamination aeration solution for everything from lab-scale R&D bioreactors to full-scale industrial fermentation and ozone water treatment.
