Sintered Metal Mesh Filter
CMI Sintered Metal Mesh Filters are engineered by bonding multiple layers of woven wire mesh through high-temperature vacuum sintering to create a rigid, porous laminate. This unique structure provides a permanent, stable pore size that will not deform even under extreme pressure or high-viscosity loads.
Standardly available in 5-layer laminates (with 6 or 7 layers for specialized needs), these filters offer a precise filtration range of 2 to 200 μm. Fabricated from 316L or 304 stainless steel, they combine excellent corrosion resistance with high mechanical strength, making them far superior to standard wire cloth. CMI mesh filters are fully cleanable, weldable, and can be customized into cartridges, discs, cones, or cylinders, providing a long-life solution for chemical fiber filtration, catalyst support, and high-temperature transpiration cooling.

Standard configurations typically include 5-layer sintered mesh laminates, while 6-layer or 7-layer structures are available for higher strength or finer filtration requirements.
Sintered mesh materials can be fabricated into cartridges as well as discs, cones, cylinders, and other customized geometries.
