Porous Metal Discs
CMI Porous Metal Discs are high-performance components manufactured using advanced powder sintering technology to provide a controlled pore structure for reliable filtration and flow regulation. These discs offer high mechanical strength and excellent dimensional stability, making them ideal as filtration elements, support layers, or gas distribution components in harsh environments.
With a filtration rating from 0.3 to 100 μm and thicknesses as fine as 0.1 mm, CMI discs are fully customizable in terms of dimensions (OD up to 600 mm) and materials, including 316L Stainless Steel, Titanium, and Hastelloy. They are resistant to high temperatures, corrosion, and aggressive media, and are fully cleanable for a long operational life. These discs are widely used across industries for critical tasks such as HPLC inlet protection, catalyst retention, and oxygenation in bioreactors.
